"True." Shade said. "But just because something´s not proven does that mean it doesn´t exist? What about all the things people believe in. No proof in that either. So there´s no logic for a minus point if you base it on that." She gave him a smile which told she was rather pleased with herself.

"Key word is believe, chere," Gambit hinted.

"You´re not trying to tell me that someone who has been raised by a real voodoo with does not believe in anything supernatural or unproven." Shade stated more than asked, eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and amusement.

"Stuff I believe in don't have to be fact and truth," Gambit said.

Shade looked up at him, feigning a frustrated sigh. "Okay then, you win... for now."

Shade chuckled slightly, then propped her head against his chest again, lazily stretching her legs. She took a deep breath, enjoying the air of early summer while her fingers started to almost absent mindenly play her fingers along her bracelet. It was a habit of hers, tugging things. She would do so with the sleeves of a pullover when she was nervous, but now she did it without much thought.

Gambit glanced at the Ogun bracelet, the one he had given her after he came back from New Orleans.
"So how's dis thing?" he asked, running his hand along Shade's arm towards the bracelet. "Protectin' ya?"

Shade smiled a little. She had grown to like the bracelet, partly because of the meaning it was supposed to have. "Well..." she said. "we had another attack and I didn´t get harmed. And I met Pyro a few times and I didn´t get burnt, so I guess it does."

Again she smiled a little. "I hope so too." she said, looking down at her wrist. "Is Gambit supersticious?" she asked, not meaning to tease him.

"Sometimes," Gambit said. "Depends."

Shade looked up at him with half a smile. "So either that´s a ´come on, back off that Shade, I don´t want to deepen that topic´ or a ´yeah well, but nothing interesting to tell on that´" she guessed.

"It's a 'de topic's so large dat I don't even know where t' begin unless ya ask more specifically'," Gambit said.

"Hm..." Shade said, thinking. She found it an interesting topic, especially as they had never talked about these kind of things before. "Well, much about supersticion is about believing in ´good luck´ - ´bad luck´ things. Do you think there are things like that? That bring you luck? Or bad luck?"
