Shade looked at him, confused for a moment, then it dawned on her that she might have told him a whole few weeks back that many of her dreams involved flying. Had she? She wasn´t sure. "Flying dreams?" she asked just to make sure. "Yeah. They´re some of my favourites. They still are."

Shade looked up at him, quirking an eyebrow. "Flying dreams mean your mind is still alive?" she asked, wondering what made him think so.

"Staring at?" she asked, continuing to look at him, not sure what he meant.

Shade looked at him for another moment, then shifted a little and lay down, her head in his lap, still not really getting what he was playing at, but it didn´t seem important anyways. "What do you think?" she said after a moment. "Go get the horseys?"

Shade shook her head slightly. "Nope." she said. "No other plans yet. Apart from maybe jumping into the lake for a quick swim but something tells me it´s got to be freezingly cold."

Shade smiled at him. "Yeah." she said. "I like that idea. "Let´s go swimming when we come back then."
She remained where she was for another few minutes, doing nothing but just enjoying how the minutes slipped by, feeling perfectly fine with the fact that it was just Gambit and her for the moment. Then however, as she had been looking forward to the riding already and was happy about him liking the idea as well, she got up. "Let´s go then." she said and took his hand.

After a few minutes, Shade had everything she needed. She had gone back into the mansion to fetch some of the sausages she had mentioned earlier and had also packed a few rolls she had found in the kitchen and some bottles with drinks. Putting everything into a bag she had stuffed a plaid in as well, almost causing the bag to burst.
There were about half a dozen horses in the stables when they entered. Shade chose a fox brown one. Some minutes later, they left the grounds on horseback.

Throwing a glance at her stance, Gambit could notice that she wasn't new to horseback riding. "You look great," he said. "We should do it more often."

Shade reigned her horse a little. It wanted to run free and it should all too soon. "Thanks." she said with a grin. "We so should make a list of things we´ve not done in a long time but should do more often. Clubbing, rollerskating, riding..." She chuckled.

Shade flashed him a grin. He was right in a way, still she found it funny how they would come up with ideas like that. It proved him wrong about being totally different, but she didn´t mention that. "Let´s let them run a little." she suggested, a slight glimmer in her eyes. She could feel her horse prance a little, moving its hoofs in a way that clearly told her the animal wanted to stretch its legs. They were on a rather nicely done wooden path, no danger for their horses to stumble, so she kicked the sides of the fox horse with her heels and allowed the stallion to dash forwards.
