"Good." Shade said, finished her breakfast and shifted lazily so she was leaning against him. Right now, despite the thoughts concerning Rogue she was feeling rather happy and relaxed.

"I took a picture of you sleepin' dis mornin'," Gambit said out of the blue, thinking of saying something that would distract him from his other thoughts, not all of which were too positive. "You were too cute, I couldn't resist."

Shade craned her head to look at him and laughed a little. "You did?" she said. "I slept so deep I didn´t notice anything." She moved a little to place an arm across his chest. What a curious thing to do, she thought. She had noticed rather early in their relationship that Gambit liked to watch her, but she had also noticed that he had done so increasingly, that there were more moments now in which they didn´t do anything but either watch each other or just sit in silence. She liked this development and smiled to herself.

Shade smiled a little. "I mostly have these days." she said. There had been times when her sleep had mostly been troubled by nightmares, but these times were gone it seemed. "I don´t remember anything specific though."

It was an interesting question, Shade thought. And the true answer would have been no pleasant one. She had had a frequently recurring dream months ago, but no longer, so she didn´t think it relevant any longer. "No specific one." she said, entwining her fingers with his. "but I often dream about ... I don´t know... the usual things. I guess it´s mostly in a combination with memories. I dream about home or about us. Something like this."

Shade shook her head. "No." she said continuing to let her fingers run along his. "I had a dream like this months back, but it ended when I left the Brotherhood and came to terms with myself." She turned to look at him. "It wasn´t a nice one so I´m rather glad it´s gone."

"Yeah." Shade agreed, moving a little closer to him, leaning her head against Gambit´s chest. Their conversation reminded her of when he had slept in her room very early in their relationship and he had wondered about the nightmares she had mentioned. She had had none of these any more. "What about you? Any nice recurring dreams you have?"

"Recurrin' dreams are rarely nice," Gambit said. "Jus' because dey repeat over an' over, an' it drives ya nuts." He hugged her with one arm, giving her a small kiss on the top of her head.

Shade smiled a little at that. He was certainly right about this. It was just what she had experienced with recurring dreams. "Would be the same as my maaany of my usual dreams then." she said lazily with a slight chuckle. "Most of those fit into the category of ´nuts´."
