((OOC: This takes place after everything in Pietro's current timeline.))
::It was an uncharacteristically pleasant day outside, and after his security sweep, Pietro had stopped to leaned against a tree. He was in better spirits than he had been, and the counseling had little to do with that. Magneto's absence was a main contributor, although that was mitigated by Rossignol's physical isolation. No, what brought his mood up today was a minor incident this morning. While Wanda had been dressing for the day, several coat hangers had fallen off the rack and scattered. With his own perception, he had seen that she hadn't touched the bar. It was a good sign. A small one, but a good one.
As the seconds and minutes dragged on with the sun above him and little to do, he decided to occupy his hands. Finding several acorns scattered beneath the tree, he took one and tossed it. Eventually, it became a test for his hand-eye coordination.::

Storm had been in the midst of a meditation of sorts, something she used to concentrate more on the weather then on her immediate surroundings. The early thaw worried her; it knocked too much out of whack, but she couldn't correct it without damaging another area. Sighing, she gave up for the moment, and was walking inside when she saw Pietro, throwing what only appeared to her as a small brown blurr up and down in the air. She stood and watching momentarily, then allowed an obviously unnatural gust of wind to announce her presence.

::A gust of wind knocked the acorn from Pietro's hands, although he dove to catch it. Few people could do that, and he lifted his head to find Ororo approaching him. Dusting his knees off, he dropped the acorn into his pocket.:: "I see you still like an entrance."

"If only to see you scramble," she said, laughing a little.

::A silver eyebrow rose. Pietro knew she was teasing and this was as far as he could allow himself to reply in kind.:: "Fortunately, I didn't develop a complex from that."

"That would be because I only did it when you deserved it, remember?" she said, raising an eyebrow to match his.

::A frown settled on Pietro's lips for an instant before he forced it away. She was teasing, he knew that, and not everyone was as careful with language as he was.:: "Yes, I remember."

A slow smile spread across her features; she'd half expected a much different reaction. "Besides, you got me on more then one occasion." She remembered a particular half-drunken night with as much clarity as she was able, given that at the time there had been a particular speedy mutant going in circles around her just to make her dizzy.

::If she thought of the same occasion as Pietro did himself, he agreed he had deserved that one. He nodded slightly, his expression becoming lighter.:: "If I recall, that was back when we still thought if I drank *enough* I could get drunk. Then I drank you under the table."

She winced good naturedly. "I don't think I've ever had that bad of a headache."

::Pietro remembered the night and the day after.:: "Yet we were their favorite customers for a year."

She snorted. "We should have been. That bill came to about $300."

::Pietro nodded, a rueful expression touching his features. To say that Uncle had been displeased would be an understatement.:: "I don't regret it, do you?"

She smiled in humor. "I can't say I remember all that much about it, but the only thing I regret is the hangover."
