When Shade had stepped outside, the first thing she had noticed was, that it had again become colder outside. She tried to pull her jacket and scarf around her as tightly as possible, but still couödn´t totally exclude the icy cold wind. Still, she enjoyed being outside. She had felt that a sniff of fresh air wouldn´t be a wrong thing to do. She was rather tired as she hadn´t slept too well that night. She walked a short bit, then she sat down on a bench, closing her eyes, letting her thoughts drift. She opened her eyes again.

::The Professor had spent the better part of the last several days in his office and needed a change of scenary. Although it was cold outside, he had been growing restless and simply ignored it. As he wheeled through the grounds, he caught sight of Shade at a bench and decided to meet up with her. Her eyes were closed, so he remained silent, not wanting to disturb her. After a few moments, she opened her eyes and he smiled softly at her:: "Pleasant weather."

She had not seen the professor wheel towards her and looked away from the distance as he came closer. "A little cold, but that´s better than rain anyways" she said with a smile. "How are you professor?"

"I agree. I'll take a chill over the rain any day. I'm fine; I was just feeling a bit of cabin fever." ::He wheeled up alongside the bench:: "And how are you?"

"Very true" Shade said and snuggled her scarf closer around her neck.
"Quite okay so far." she replied. "Things are getting settled which is good." She turned her head to look at him. "What did you think of my first lesson?" she asked curiously.

"I enjoyed it. I know that you were nervous about teaching students, but you have both a grasp of the material and a real presence in the classroom, which make you an excellent teacher."

She felt she was blushing slightly and was happy her cheeks were already reddened with the cold. She smiled. "That´s nice to hear." she said. "I was really surprised how nice they responded to me. I didn´t expect a discussion with half the depth." she said.

"The students can be surprising. But you spoke about something that mattered to them and that always catches their attention." ::He smiled softly.:: "Hopefully you'll be able to keep it up when discussing less immediately relevant topics."

She nodded. "That´s the impression I had, too. How could I judge any of their comments? They all have a reason for them. Being a teenager is stress, being a teenager and a mutant is even worse." She smiled faintly. "I hope they will." she added. "I am not sure about what I will do next lesson. I have an idea but I might swap it with another."

::He nodded in agreement. It was difficult to be a teenager and a mutant. But the students always dealt with it quite well. That was why the school existed.:: "What are you considering for your next lesson?"
