She took his hand, then her brow furrowed, considering something. Stepping slightly closer, she didn't lower her voice, but simply asked "Will you trust me?"

::Pietro's gaze did not waver from hers. There was no need for the question.:: "I always trust you."

A slight smile touched Ty's lips, but nothing else; she was looking internally, relying not on her own knowledge of what she already could accomplish but rather a sense of how far her abilities could actually stretch. She hadn't been inclined to act on the feeling, not until now, and besides the Mansion this was one of the safest places to try- no one would lynch them for being mutants, here. Attempting this now was a little selfish...she simply didn't want to deal with trying to make their way through a pressing crowd again.
She moved to stand in front of him, face to face, one hand on his chest, the other still holding his. The air around them began to shiver, though not with green energy, but it was as if it had suddenly become a liquid and was flowing. Her eyes shut, concentrating, but she still murmurred "I won't hurt you," before both of them began to glow briefly with white hot energy and suddenly dissolved to ash, flowing up over the crowd and out just outside the doors of Hellfire before reforming, in the same way they had been standing inside.

::Before she acted, Pietro had an idea of what she would do. He had seen her use this power once, when they had been on the mansion roof. Having an idea was not the same as being prepared, and when he found himself ash, and then suddenly transported outside, in the same position, his vision swam, as he tried to regain himself. His awareness, his abilities, they were both confined entirely to his body, and finding himself without one was momentarily disconcerting.::

Typhoid, for her part, was feeling the sense of nausea that came with having to use two aspects of her powers at once, that of turning something to ash and that of rebuilding it. A headache accompanied it, but it was already fading, and she saw Pietro's discomfort. "Are you alright?"

::Pietro closed his eyes as he mentally reviewed each system of his body, beginning with his muscle groups. Everything felt as normal, although there remained a strange residual sensation. When finished, he opened his eyes.:: "Yes."

"I should have tried that on a hologram before a real person," she said, brow furrowing. "I'm too used to how it feels..."

::Pietro's expression became one of concern, and he lay a hand on her arm to help steady her.:: "Are you well enough to go out again?"

She smiled a little, eyes crinkling. "I'm used to it, Pietro. I was more worried about you."

::Pietro nodded, but did not remove his hand from her arm.:: "I'm fine."

She nodded, accepting it. "Thank you. I haven't...tried to do that with anyone."

::Pietro knew the significance of that, and his eyes glowed with affection, for the first time since these Hellish events and their aftermath had befallen them.:: "I am honored."

She smiled a little, fingers brushing his cheek softly. "I had to wait until I knew it wouldn't hurt anyone. Or that I would combine us, somehow."

::Pietro leaned forward into her touch, the heat from her fingers warmed his cheek against the cool air.:: "That could be problematic, combining us."

"Depends on your definition of combined," she replied, raising an eyebrow, her fingers still on his cheek.
