"I hate the fact that I do," she said. The DJ was playing a techno version of "Electric Avenue," and it was obvious that most others didn't like it either. Most were leaving the dancefloor, and the DJ switched the music to a slower, less irritating song.

::The song that replaced the other tripe at least could be identified as music. Pietro contemplated the vodka bottle, and then the dance floor. He knew that she had come to dance.:: "Would you like to go out there?"

She glanced at the vodka bottle, then at her drink. "Yes, but this seems like a bad time to abandon a drink."

::Pietro was not certain he fully understood, but assumed she did not yet wish to dance. She had glanced at his vodka also, and he held the bottle towards her.:: "Would you like some?"

She chuckled. "You know how I am with too much alcohol. It's just a bad idea to leave a drink out in the open. Even mutants carry drugs with them."

::Pietro's eyes narrowed at the implication.:: "That is disgusting."

She shrugged. "I agree, but...that's what happens. You'd think people would be smarter in a club full of mutants."

::She was correct in that, and Pietro was hardly one to argue the vile attitudes of men. However, it disgusted him that a woman could not go to a tavern without fear of being drugged and taken advantage of.:: "You would think they would have honor."

"We're supposed to be what's next," Ty acknowledged with a nod, finishing her drink. "I wish we'd learn to try something new....like not copying depravity."

"Villainy is villainy, be it human or mutant," ::Pietro said, thoughts of Magneto and others in his mind. He capped his bottle of vodka, not fearing drug contamination.::

"I suppose it is, I just wish it wasn't." Another slow song had started up; people seemed to like them at the moment, so the DJ was obliging them. Ty inclined her head towards the dancefloor, leaving her finished drink on the bar. "Should we?"

::Pietro inclined his head slightly; if she wished to dance, he would oblige her. Rising from the bar, he offered his hand to her.::

Ty took it with a half-smile, following him towards the dance floor. The music at least wasn't so loud they couldn't hear one another speak. "I won't try to lead," she said, raising an eyebrow, still smiling.

::If Pietro were another man, he might make a comment about not remembering how to lead. However he had his memory for motion, and would not lie about it.:: "You can if you wish. My pride can take it."

She chuckled, amused, before stepping closer and directing his hands to her waist, putting her hands on his shoulders. It wasn't the "traditional" way to dance, but she didn't expect to try to do a full blown waltz here. "I like it when someone leads."
