Gambit finished with the balcony and the balcony door and returned to the room. Shade was already putting her sneakers on, so he gathered his things and also went to the door to put his shoes on.

Shade got up from the bed, the bag and flower in one hand, fishing for the room keys in her pocket with the other. The last minutes had passed in silence although no awkward one. Going over the room in her thoughts she noticed there shouldn´t be any finger prints left of them. "Now we´re just left on the keys and the door knobs" she said with a little smile giving him a peck on the mouth.

"Door, door frame, light switches," Gambit added. He got up from the floor and opened the door to let her outside.

"Right." Shade said with a nod. He had much more memory for details than her she once more noticed. She stepped outside and waited for Gambit to follow her.

Removing the rest of fingerprints, Gambit stepped out of the room, hooking the door with his foot and making it shut behind him. "Dere," he said and, putting his arm around Shade's waist and taking her bags from her, headed towards the fire escape staircase.
