Her breath was a little hurried from the kiss, so Shade had to take up some efforts to let her voice sound somewhat normal. She straightened up a little, following his gaze, then gave him a little smile. "Nice." she said, looking up the building as if it was indeed a new view for her. "now I´m really curious what your place looks like." Her words were ambiguous again but she decided that this ambiguity fit well with agent Shade´s attitude right now.

"Let's give ya a chance t' find out," Gambit said. He got out of the car and held his hand out for her to help her get out as well.

Shade took his hand and got out of the car, finding that she still wasn´t too used to an outfit like that when it came to walking, but somehow managing to not look clumsy - or maybe that was just how she saw it; she had had quite a bit of wine and was getting impatient. Still she stuck to her role glancing at him. "I can´t wait to admire the view" she said her eyebrows raised. "if you´re living somewhere close to the top that is."

"High enough," Gambit replied. He walked her to the elevator and, once inside, even managed to press the right button only from the second attempt. Then he turned to her again. "I don't know if I said it already, but you look stunnin' in dis dress."

Strictly speaking he had not used the word ´stunning´ but had reacted to it in a way that had taught her just that. However that had been before they had started the game. "Thank you." she therefore said with a broad, flattered smile that would not even be too much typical Shade for her agent role. "and I didn´t even know how handsome you look in a suit."

"Truly has been a surprisin' evening," Gambit smirked.

Shade leant against the wall of the elevator, for a moment considering to stop it. But then she discarded the thought again - a little more patience she had. She mirrored the smirk. "Absolutely." she said, watching him.

Gambit met her eyes and chuckled softly. "Will your absense be noticed at de hotel? I wouldn't wanna get ya in trouble."

Her smirk became a grin. "No." Shade said. "people there don´t see much of me anyways. And for emergencies I have my cell." She unceremoniously grabbed into her handbag, took out the phone and switched it off. "Whatever."

Shade was practically putting the "Do not disturb" sign on their door by that gesture. Gambit couldn't suppress a grin. Shade the spy was dead serious about being left alone with Gambit for the rest of the night. That was sure to give Gambit the spy high hopes - as if he hadn't have them hours ago already - and at the same time for some reason woke his mischievous part up. He could already think of a way to tease Shade - the way that would either make her majorly pissed off at him or make her jump him as quickly as possible. The player part of him knew that either way he'd have fun.
The elevator brought them to the 18th floor, opening the door with a 'ding'.
