Gambit carefully put the glass aside. He had people and connections to whom he could turn for some fingerprint matching job.

Shade was still alert. She knew it as a weird thing probably, and it very likely didn´t show on the outside, but both the strange stuff happening here only a few minutes back and the fact that she was still faced with...herself, were kind of bizarre. She nodded barely visibly. "Okay." she said, not revealing what her powers were. She had been wondering, because her powers were physical in a way and if Morph could...morph into whatever he liked, then it could as well be Shade with some parts missing. Or all of her. Meaning that would be mimicking her powers.
She kept wondering what Gambit was plotting. It might have something to do with the murder of course and she was dieing to ask, but wouldn´t do that. Not here, in public. Would sound funny, wouldn´t it: Wait, are we doing this so maybe this guy can somehow help me about being a murderer? Right...

Gambit didn't bother with explanations for now, not in front of the third party. Whether Shade remembered it or not, it was a usual thing with him - he'd leave her wondering and blank-guessing until they could discuss things in the safety of his home lair.
"Merci, Kevin," he told the other man, putting the glass away, and then stood up. "Will be seein' you 'round, I s'pose."

Kevin was still eyeing both Gambit and Shade with wariness. None of what had happened over the course of the past couple of hourse had filled him with optimism and happiness about life in general. He had come here to relax and enjoy and this was what he was getting instead? Something was very off with his life.
"I guess," he said vaguely, not moving from his seat.

There was quite a lot of strange stuff going on for just one evening, Shade thought. Not that she had not had her share of weird stuff in her recent past, no, it was just that... this evening had actually started like fun and right now her head felt a little overloaded. She knew she needed to get out of here and get a few things out of her system, sort her thoughts. In short, discuss stuff with Gambit.
She gave Kevin a small smile, more a reflex of politeness despite the wariness that probably didn´t do him justice anyways, then got up as well. "Let´s go?" she said to Gambit. She didn´t feel like adding something such as ´I feel crappy and weirded out, let´s go home.´ She still didn´t have her full memory of him but he had shown on countless occasions that he was very able to read her moods. And not just because of his slight empathic powers but just because he knew her so well.

Gambit merely nodded in response. He didn't have anything important to do at the Club that night anymore, so they could freely go home without caring about anything else.
Giving Shade a nod to follow him, he made pushed through the crowd and made his way outside to where he'd parked his car.
