::Once they had reached the shed and were away from spying eyes and ears, Pietro* spoke what had been on his mind. His voice was low, as he wished none to overhear; he knew the reputation, and although *he* had none of the emotional scarring of his original, nor did he detest their father, he knew what was expected.:: "Rossignol...I have a request to make of you."

"Yes?" she said. Obviously it was something both private and important, otherwise he would have asked earlier.

::It was personal. Pietro leaned forward to kiss her on the lips, a gentle peck, before pulling back.:: "Tonight...I wish to taste you."

She blinked, returning the kiss but still caught in the middle of surprise. "I...I mean, that's..." She didn't know what to say for a moment. She and the original Pietro had only just begun a physical relationship before the attack happened. And she and THIS Pietro...there had been so many issues to work out that sex hadn't even been on her mind.
At the same time, she did call them both her boyfriend, even though they were, in her mind, very different people. She wasn't sure how fair it would be to deny one what she granted the other, but she hesitated to disturb the balancing act she had to maintain. She fell quiet for a minute, unsure of what to say as all the issues ran through her mind.

::Pietro* did not push her on the issue, particularly when she fell silent. He had patience which his original self did not in some respects, and lacked it in others. *He* had no body issues or hangups regarding this issue.:: "It is an offer, only that."

"I know." She'd never been under the impression he would force her into anything. "I...It's not that I don't want that, but I also don't want Pietro to walk in on an uncomfortable situation in the morning." Her tone made it clear she wasn't referring to the man in front of her; she never referred to them as "original" or "copy" when she spoke aloud, particularly when speaking of one to the other. "I don't want to create trouble between the three of us."

::On one level, Pietro* wanted that, because he would win in a fight with no effort, and if he was attacked, he would then be the victim with the other man as the unreasonable aggressor in the eyes of others. That could be advantageous. On the other hand, he understood her point, as it would be uncomfortable for her, and for all of them given certain outcomes.:: "If location is a problem, we can use a hotel. If it is talking to him, then talk to him first."

Location wasn't so much of a problem for her; both the men had rooms of their own, and they didn't have to use hers if they didn't want to. "I'll...talk to him. He's..." It was difficult for her to express how she felt in this type of situation. She had never considered a relationship with two different people at once before. "It's important to me that he's aware. But yes..." She put her hand to the cheek of the Pietro in front of her, smiling at him softly. "I want to."

"I will wait," ::Pietro* told her, and he considered this a victory. She wished it, and that was half the battle, and he would also get what he wished. His original counterpart would yield to her; this he knew, because he knew how the other man's mind worked.::

"I'll see him later this afternoon," she said, knowing his work schedule. It would be a delicate conversation; sometimes it was best to tell the original Pietro that she was simply going out with the other man, and he often inferred that more happened then actually did. This time she'd be specific, if only because she loved him, and he deserved to know.

"Of course," ::Pietro* said, and he leaned forward to kiss her briefly.:: "I will go back to Ororo, before she notices I am missing."

She nodded, returning the brief kiss. "I'll talk to you later."

"You will," ::Pietro* made that a promise. He then stepped back, took the pick he needed, and walked back in the direction of the garden.::

Typhoid turned to go back to the Mansion; she had much to think about, in how to talk to Pietro about her plans for the night.

::Later that afternoon, Pietro returned home from his duty shift. He had stopped at the market to pick up a box of chocolate for her; the disposable income of employment was quite useful in that regard. He changed in his bedroom, and then approached hers, knocking rapidly.::
