"But I jus' happened to be around," Gambit dodged the blow, taking a leap over his head towards his opponent and aiming to kick Mimic in the head with his foot before he landed. If, indeed, Mimic charged the staff with anything resembling Gambit's use of energy, it would explode, causing another major destruction inside the bar; Gambit was hoping his kick would take Mimic down because that was becoming kinda dangerous even by his own standards. He wasn't at the moment paying attention to what the others were doing.

Ty shook her head at Kitty, forestalling any long explanations that she couldn't give right now. They needed to get out of here and back into the real world. "It's a reality slightly off from the regular. I can get us in it, but it's gonna be hard to get out," she said in warning, giving Kitty the fast version of the situation. "We're going to get hurt, so you're going to have to prepare for it." Victory was still pacing, looking for them. "And we're going to have to take care of her, too."
Outside, Mimic smirked at Gambit, the expression odd with her extremely pale skin and red eyes. "So much the better," she said, before Gambit leapt into the air. She dodged, but only just barely, and his heel connected with her forehead, making her see stars and knocking her off balance. A head impact was probably the worst thing for her- she had to concentrate to hold onto someone else's power, and now her hold on Gambit's was fading.

Kitty didn't understand, but was used to working under pressure and knew there was no time for more conversation on the matter. "Can I phase us through her? It seems like she can't see us." Trying to make some sense of the bizarre situation, Kitty looked around them again and shook her head as if to clear it.
