Nightcrawler reacted at once. He had never been a good fighter, but getting people out was something he could do well and quickly. He had done just that during the attack in Washington, teleporting people to the healers.
He had been able to look around the area a moment ago when taking others to safety. He had seen that they were relatively safe some 100 yards off at a spot that was not directly accessibly for the tiger. His response was a short nod, then he teleported to a woman who was on the ground already, close to the raging beast, her hands in front of her face protectively. A blink of an eye and he had his arms clasped around her and taken her to safety.
Not pausing, he went out going for those close to the tiger first, putting himself in danger.

Typhoid watched Monet take off and figured it'd be for the best. She'd talk to her later. For now, there was Strype to handle.
Ty followed Kurt and dematerialized to ash, solidifying beside a man who was way too close. She grabbed him and dragged him away, her abilities making her next to useless in a quick evacuation, but she had to do something. "KYRA!!!" she tried to call to Strype in the hopes that a familiar voice would call her out of her rage.

Kyra, the person/tiger in question, did not hear Typhoid's call, or did not appear to. A blue man materialized close to her, and her massive paw lashed out at the redheaded woman, while she let out a roar of rage.

Ty ducked but didn't quite make it, and the skin of her shoulder gave way under Kyra's claw. She screamed with the pain, and backed away, the sight of her injury making others back away as well. It wasn't a game, now, someone was hurt.
The riot police had finally arrived, and the reaction to Kyra was obvious. They didn't take aim- they were equipped for a riot, not an animal attack. Down behind their shields, one of radioed for air support, with animal tranquilizers. "SOMEONE LET A DAMN TIGER LOOSE!" the commanding officer shrieked.

While the impact of hitting the ground was hard, it did not hurt Paige much as she was in a tough skin. Though it did force the wind out of her lungs, she was okay aside from that. Paige quickly stood up, looking at Kyra with confusion and shock. She really needed to learn how to control her powers, and she hoped that Professor Xavier spoke to her about this. Paige saw Monet take off and she almost yelled at her, but decided she wasn't worth it. Paige saw Ty get slashed by Kyra's claws and her hands tightened into fist. She would need to do something to stop the tiger, as it seemed she was the only one with the powers to be able to protect herself form a physical attack at the moment. She moved over towards Kyra again, watching as Ty and others backed away before she looked at the wild tiger. "You need to stop this." She told the tiger in a stern voice, not sure exactly how her powers worked, she thought that if she told her to stop, she just might.

::The police arrived in droves, spreading out to take control of the situation. Several were on the surrounding streets, attempting to stop profiteers and thieves. Others were dispatched with riot gear into the midst of the park, prepared to use the tear gas if the fights did not break up.
The tiger was a concern, and while a couple of men went to restrain it, there were bigger problems. People were running, there was fighting, fires, weapons, and overall chaos. The Commissioner had come down with a police truck, and a district agent from the Bureau of Mutant Affairs, one Neena Thurmon.:: "They are your people; try to calm them down. If you cannot, we are going to do it by the books."

::The chaos diverted Odin's attentions, between the mobs fleeing, the fighting around them, the police arrival, the blue teleporter appearing and disappearing, Paige and Typhoid running off in different directions to fight, and the mutant girl turning into a tiger. He missed Monet's comment about leaving until she had already taken flight. If it were not for his driving need to bring order to this chaos somehow, he would have joined her; his fight or flight sense was encouraging him to leave now that the police had arrived.
On that subject, the tiger mutant - Kyra, Typhoid and Paige had called her? - was still attacking, not listening to those around her, and she had caught police attention. Hearing one of the officers cry out in shock, he cupped his hands around his mouth, knowing it would make him hoarse, but he knew how officials could overreact to animals, they were counted as lesser lifeforms.:: "She's a girl! Be careful with her!"

Typhoid made her way over to Odin, clutching her bleeding shoulder. "If the cops get her tranquilized, we have to get her out of here before they can take her. If they try to shoot her I'm stopping the bullets." She turned around and scanned the crowd for Kurt. "Kurt could teleport her; I can get her somewhat away but not as far as he can." She knew Odin wasn't part of a team, necessarily, but he was a level head in a not so level moment, and she was feeling the effects of pain.

::Odin could only hope that the police would listen to him, and that it was unnecessary either for Typhoid to stop bullets or for him to intervene in what limited capacity he could. He nodded, turning to face her, although he kept one eye on the situation with this Kyra. His expression was surprisingly unemotive.:: "That's fair. The police brought a few mutants with them; they might be sympathetic. And that girl with the purple hair watching the blond toddler is a healer, if you want to do something about the shoulder."

When Neena had heard about the riot going on in Central Park, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. It was so typical these days, especially with the change of President's. Arriving on the scene, she shook her head and let out an annoyed sigh. Stepping out of the van, her short black hair blew against the momentary harsh winds as her blue eyes scanned the riot going on. She then caught sight of a large tiger, she then heard someone yell that she was a girl. "Hm, interesting power." She said in almost an amused tone. She turned her gaze to the person who had just spoken to her and she nodded before making her way over to them. She saw a metal skinned girl, trying to stop the wild tiger and a girl with red hair, injured and from the looks of it, from the tiger. "I suggest you get out of here before things get worse." She said sternly to the small group of people. They would need to take care of the tiger, but first they would need as many people out of here as they could. In her ear piece she heard the district agent to be careful and she just turned her gaze over her shoulder briefly to look at him before turning her gaze back at the small group of people. "Now."

"I'm not leaving Strype," Ty said, grateful for the cavalry but also not abandoning her friend.

Neena's jaw tightened at the girl's tenacious attitude, and if the red-head knew anything about her, well she was about to found out. "Well you really don't have a say in the matter, unless you want to deal with the Bureau of Mutant Affairs." It was not so much a threat, as it was a fact. Though there was definitely an underline of authority and annoyance to her tone.

"Congratulations." Ty looked her up and down. "Look, once the cops or whoever can get her tranquilized, she can be teleported out of here." To Odin, she belatedly replied, "I'll handle my shoulder later."

Neena raised an eyebrow, before letting out a small chuckle. The girl did have spunk, she'd give her that. She thought over her suggestion, yes to her it was a suggestion as in her mind she had much higher authority than she did. "Well, I'd hate to see the cops involved as well." She admitted, considering it.

::The awareness set in, why Odin would so quickly recognize a mutant presence with the police force: a familiar X-Factor. He had met this woman before...last month. Her name was Domino, and her job was closely what he had assumed...less covert, however. He turned to face her, hoping she might recognize him amidst the chaos.:: "She's with us, and we're reluctant to leave her. Can you keep the police away to give us cover when the times comes?"
