::The Professor firmly believed that, which is why all structured learning had a component of free time, and he nodded in agreement.:: "In one way or another. Which brings us back to boxing."

"Yeah." Shade said, pulling off the other glove as well and giving them half thoughtful look. "One of several ways."

"Indeed, but between Logan and Raven, time in the Danger Room is far more difficult to schedule," ::The Professor said with a smile. He had realized that, for although he scheduled his training sessions in advance and reserved the time, whenever he needed it for reflection, in recent time, it had been occupied.::

Shade leant against the wall of the gym, dropping the gloves to the ground. "Ages since I´ve been in there." she said. "Gambit did some training sessions with me. Proved out pretty useful in the end." Or rather, life-saving, because without these sessions she would not have known that a sentinel could detect her when using her powers.

::All of the sessions were logged, and The Professor reviewed them for security's sake, unless students were involved, in which he delved into the details. As such, he had known she had gone, but had not examined further.:: "You should have another session; it would be free if I can bring Logan into a briefing."

"Maybe another time." Shade said. She knew he only meant well, but she had had enough of running and hiding for today and it was these two actions that any training simulation as well had to come down to in the end because these were the strategies she had to use in a real danger situation. "but it´s a nice offer. And that even though I´m not even part of the team." Her lips curled into a smile that might have turned out teasing had it been directed at someone else but the Professor.

"It is an open offer," ::The Professor told her, and returned the smile. She might not be part of the team, but she had assisted them several times through attacks by tending to the students, and she was a member of the faculty all the same.::

"I might come back to it." Shade said, resting her head against the wall, feeling how the adrenaline subsided a little, making her head clearer in the process. It felt good. "What is it the Danger Room can do? I mean, apart from sentinel scenarios?"

::Apart from Cerebro, the Danger Room was the Professor's most prized invention. None of the devices in the medical laboratory or the War Room could compare, nor did any of the modifications to the Blackbird. The Danger Room was a marvel in and of itself.:: "It can give you nearly any scenario you wish, within reason."

"Hm..." Shade said. "That means if I ever feel like some really cheap, fast exotic vacation I´ll just drop by to nag you about launching the beach scenario then."

"If you so desire," ::The Professor replied, still smiling. He certainly used it for non-combat scenarios, although never for a vacation.:: "It is also useful for Halloween."

"Oh, I´ll keep that in mind." Shade said with a broad grin. "even though I was hoping to maybe scare away trick and treating kids from the mansion gates or something."

::The Professor's expression was almost reproachful. He was all for Halloween fun, but in that same way, he wanted the neighborhood children to trick-or-treat.:: "Do not frighten them; I buy more than enough candy to keep them peaceful."

"So one excludes the other?" Shade asked, automatically falling into a habit of looking for loopholes for a moment. Probably still a result of how strange the day had started, as if she was going through different levels of compensating.

"Yes. Intending to scare children and not intending to scare children are mutually exclusive," ::The Professor replied automatically.::
