Shade could feel her smile broaden. It wasn´t something big, but it sounded like such a normal thing to do. "Thank you." she said. She had no idea what movie to suggest, but quite frankly she didn´t care about that too much, because it wasn´t about the movie anyways (and she doubted he´d come along with something that involved dramas around unintentional murders and the like).
She looked down, noticing she was still standing there in nothing but a towel, picked up her clothes and made the two steps to the bedroom to get dressed. "I owe you one." she called out to him as she dropped the shirt and pants on the bed. "Or more like... a dozen or something."

Gambit couldn't hold back a laugh at that. "Hold dat thought until your memories return," he advised, leaning to the side just slightly to follow her with his glance when she turned around to go into the bedroom. Damn she looked good in that towel... He licked his lips, then shook his head, trying to chase the thought away.

Shade walked over to where she had left the still clean clothes. Now that she was away from the door, she let the towel drop to the floor, knowing she was out of his sight and snatched for her bra. "Why, you think I´d take it back?" she asked, suppressing a grin.

"Ya never know," Gambit remarked. "If I were you, I'd take it for granted."

Shade gave a small snort as she snatched for her panties, hopping on a foot once or twice as she put them on, then rubbed her hair with the towel once more before casting it onto the bed and grabbing the jeans. "I´m not sure what to take for granted at all, you know?" she called out, picking the last remaining clean shirt. She´d have to do some laundry soon or dress in towels. "So I´ll just say for now I´ll take it as it comes."

"Fair enough," Gambit replied. That's what he would have done, too, had he been in her shoes. Provided, of course, that he would have been in her attentive care. He chuckled to himself.

Shade had put on the shirt and gathered all her laundry together as she exited the door, about to ask whether he had some stuff for the washing machine when she noticed the chuckle. "What´s funny?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothin'," Gambit shrugged, leaning back on the sofa again. "Just... musin' on de absurdity of all dis."

"Well I´d be musing wíth you if I got the punchline." Shade said, walking past him to dump her laundry in the washing machine.

::After Remy had contacted Ororo, there had been a long conversation with the Professor. Arrangements had been made, and Scott had agreed to drive him into the City. After being let off at their rendevouz point, he sent Scott away to give them a bit of privacy and had promised to call the young man when he was finished. This was secretive but it was by necessity.
He had taken the elevator up to the floor as described and then found Remy's apartment. Then he knocked and waited patiently to be let in.::

At the sound of knocking Gambit got up immediately. "Dis should be him," he told Shade. "Jus' drop de stuff in the kitchen, bon?" with that, he walked to the door and unlocked it, opening it to let the guest in.

At the knock, Shade could feel a bit of nervousness resurface, but told herself not to be silly. They had talked about this mere moments ago, she had agreed to it, now she´d just do what she had decided she would do. Get through with it. Trust, because her gut feeling told her so. She placed the laundry on a chair and leaned in the door frame, automatically keeping a bit of a distance at first as Gambit walked to open the door.

::When the door opened, the Professor looked up at Remy. While his question sounded like small talk, it was for assessment purposes.:: "How are you both?"

Gambit wasn't sure how to summarize everything in a response to that, so he opted for a more conventional answer. "I'm fine," he said, stepping aside and then closing the door after Xavier made his way inside the room. "Can't vouch for Shade, though-" he cast a concerned look at her, wondering how she was handling her first meeting in many days with someone who was not Gambit.

Shade didn´t know what she had expected. Not what kind of age she had thought Xavier would be. Older than Gambit possibly and he possibly had to be a powerful mutant if Gambit thought he might be able to help her, so what she had certainly not expected was a man in a wheelchair, even though even as she thought that, it seemed absurd to her.
Her glance went from Xavier to Gambit, back to Xavier. "I´m okay I guess." she said, partly to show that she was not going to chicken out because Gambit looked a bit as if he thought she might. She had her arms crossed, but noticed it might look not too friendly so she undid it.
