Opening day

Gambit stood in the center of the bar, looking around. Everything was ready now. The only things lacking were music, the inimitable blend of cigarette smoke, perfume and alcohol in the air and the delightful sight of ladies having fun.
He smirked to himself. Well, at least one of those could be taken care of immediately. He took out a cigarette, ignited its tip with his powers and took a long drag, exhaling the smoke into the room. Suppose this is the initiation.
Remy returned to the barstand. Later he might need a waitress, when the visitors start to flock to him (and they WILL start to flock), but this time was still to come. The word of the new mutants-only nightclub was already out.
He switched the music on and began to make a list of future Hellfire-special cocktails.

Hellfire Club layouts - for future reference

Basics of the Hellfire Club
1. The Hellfire Club isn't marked on the map, in the Internet, or in the phone directory. The only way to find it is to be told about it by someone who has already been to the Club. Do not write anything of the "she found it by accident" kind.
2. The Hellfire Club admits any mutant without asking for IDs. Do not write anything about IDs.
3. Teenagers below drinking age (which, depending on Gambit's mood and attitude, can be 16 or 17) are admitted to the club but no further than two dancefloors+karaoke, and are not served alcohol. If your character is younger than 18, you might want to think twice before you mention your character drinking alcohol, otherwise your thread will be edited (or deleted) by Gambit, depending on the situation.
4. The Hellfire Club's security and bouncers are one of the strongholds for the Club's existence. Fights and other incidents are prevented before they even happen. The Club is essentially a safe place for everybody to relax and hang-out. Do not write fights and violent use of powers into your visits to the Hellfire. You want to fight - you take it outside.
5. The members of the staff are strictly forbidden to use their powers during their work time for purposes other than their jobs.
6. There is no drink menu in the bar, nor is there any fixed price for any drink. Do not describe your characters studying the drink menu. Either order something you know, or turn to one of the bartenders (Gambit/Rogue) for suggestions.
7. Gambit is the owner of the Club and is there most of the time. When you enter the Club, be aware that he can join your thread at any moment without asking for permission.
8. The Rainbow Lounge with bedrooms upstairs isn't for free - you must pay for the swipe card to the room. Even if your character can manipulate digital locks, there are surveillance cameras in hallways and ever-present staff, not to mention Gambit.
9. Do not denigrate the Club's staff by describing them revealing details of the Club's business, dealing drugs, flirting with the Club's visitors, etc. The staff members are immaculate in this respect. If you want to spice up your Club visits, bring in company or ask Gambit.
10. Please mention the time of day when you start a thread. It is essential for the context.
11. Yes, I have absolute modding powers in the Hellfire Club threads.
12. The map of the Club is also here in this thread.
